Hats Off to BRHJA Non Showing Siblings/Mulligans for Horse Shows
The BRHJA Non Showing Siblings deserve some praise for supporting their siblings who show at the show! For those siblings who are not that into horses – these shows can be a long day if they can not find another non showing child to play with.
Recently, my son Jakob (8) patiently watched his sister in all her events and as Nadia (10) came out of the gate after her last class he heard her trainer ( Linda McDaniel) comment to Nadia that she had a great run but “lost” her stirrups at the end– upon hearing that Jakob eagerly volunteered to go back into that ring and find them for her and Ms. Linda! What a sweet brother – if only we could go back after a class and “find” our stirrups when we “loose” them – that would be like a mulligan for horse shows!

SPENCER RING RE-FOOTED!!! NEW TR&HC RING JUDGE'S STAND STARTS CONSTRUCTION!!!
For those of you lucky enough to be showing at the Harmon Hopefuls show on July 12, you'll be showing in a newly rebuilt footing! Just one more thing that all of your BRHJA show dollars go towards!
You might also see some preliminary work being done on a new judges' stand being constructed for the TR&HC ring. This stand will be a similar design to the one already standing between the Spencer and Lehner Rings, just a bit smaller and with only one staircase, as only one judge needs to use it. Harmon Hopefuls money will pay for this!
We are also planning to relocate the current judge's booth at the TR&HC ring to a spot on site where it can be used as a dedicated announcer's stand. We're working on those details now, but the goal is to have it all in place for the August Summer End show!
