Blog Mania!!!!
Sally Frick is the new writer for the SportHorse Blog for the Spartanburg Herald Journal.
Sally tells it best -
Although I wear many hats, my great passion is all things “horsey”. I own and operate Motlow Creek Equestrian Center in Campobello, which puts me in the right place to report on our ever growing and changing horse community. I will keep you informed of the many competitions in our area, the training facilities, and other horse organizations that promote the sport. Riding horses is both a sport as well as a lifestyle. I want to tell you of all the great restaurants, shops and Inns that weave our horse community into the unique and charming destination that it is! For all of you who love horses and want to be involved at some level, there is a place for you. The sport of riding (especially show jumping) is one of the fastest growing sports in the country, and Landrum, Campobello, Tryon, Columbus, etc. are at the forefront of this exciting movement.
Please contact her with any information you may want her to supply to the large audience of the Spartanburg Herald Journal.

Nice Note from Irene Backer
I want to thank all the volunteers who came out for the Harmon Hopeful Saturday. It was miserably hot and everyone was a trooper! Without the volunteers putting on these types of shows, the five kids that came from our barn would not be able to get an opportunity to show. They had so much fun and they didn’t care about the heat. Thanks again everyone.
